STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Lobster, jerk chicken, sumptuous burgers, fresh shucked clams and more will converge this weekend at Mount Loretto for a three-day eating and drinking affair. The drool-worthy lineup includes over two dozen food trucks, live entertainment, rides plus beer and sangria gardens.

The festival is scheduled on Friday, June 9 form 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday, June 10 from noon to 10 p.m. and Sunday, June 11 from noon to 8 p.m. Tickets for those 13 and older can be purchased from the online box office — www.cc-si.org — for a $5 donation per person for admission. Proceeds go to Catholic Charities of Staten Island, the host of the event.

"In the fresh air with a nice sea breeze carrying amazing food scents, our Food Truck Festival is the official kickoff to a great borough summer," said Claire Atalla, CEO of Catholic Charities of Staten Island. "Every year, this is where we see old friends get together, small class reunions and a lot of reconnecting with great neighbors because of that six-degrees of separation we so love on Staten Island."

On stage, Friday's performances include Atomic Crush and Inglorious Bastards. Saturday's lineup features Creatures of Habit, That Blind Cat Band, ET Studios, Morrisania Project and Full Circle. Sunday will see 25 Missions, Chain Reaction, Fast Forward and Into The Void. Performance times are available on Catholic Charities’ website.

The Advance's Shane DiMao will announce live on Saturday the winners of a free tasting experience (the entry period is now closed) courtesy of SILIVE.com/Staten Island Advance.

The following trucks are scheduled, rain or shine. While not selling edibles, Lefty's Cigar Truck will return by popular demand with international smokes. The asterisked enterprises are debuting their fare at the festival. Guests are invited to sit under a tent or stroll the Mount Loretto campus.
